[August 5, 2011] Erlang User Conference 2011

It is with great pleasure that we announce the launch of the 2011 Erlang User Conference in Stockholm. The date for your diary is 3 November 2011. Early Bird registration will open on 15 August so in the meantime if you wish to submit a talk, we would love to hear from you.

After the success of last year's Conference and it selling out, you will want to book your place early. The Erlang User Conference brings together the best minds and names in Erlang programming from language inventors, implementers and maintainers. Open source committers, community leaders and Erlang authors. Everyone who is anyone will be at the Erlang User Conference 2011!

[March 24, 2011] The demo site will go live

The site will be promoted to and hence go live.

There might be some disturbances since we have to change IP addresses through DNS and change mail servers at the same time.

We will also change mailing list software to our previous GNU Mailman; the grass was not greener on the qmail side. The web interface to Mailman might take some time to get working, we'll see. All subscribtions will be transferred.

Not all services will be transferred, e.g bittorrent since there has been a fairly low usage. Given sufficient public demand, we might rethink this. The mirrors will also be a future issue since we now get a dynamic content site.
